My 50 year old wife Teri was in charge of taking and making the drinks at my monthly poker stags. She did a fantastic job and was a good sport about taking all the off color comments and remarks over the course of the evening. After stocking my bar with everything I needed and figuring in what I needed for food on any giving night I was set. After my initial stocking my costs were minimal on my future stags. It was just a matter of keeping things tweaked the way I envisioned how I wanted it to be. I could see I was on to something here. I kept the pressure on my wife Teri to be my entertainment and I could see she was coming around but she needed more coaxing. I had a select few of my friends (guests) working her tactfully also. Then I came up with idea to make it more worth her while. I had a pretty good stash built up from $2,000 I was bringing in monthly I told her I would pay her if she would put on a show for the final table at the end of the night. That loosened her right up, that and a couple of beers and a few shots of tequila 😳. Teri has put on many great performances at my monthly poker stags and I’ve never had a problem filling my tables and a healthy waiting list. Teri is very happy with what I pay her and I know for a fact she has a little something on the side to boot.
